The Assiniboia Municipal Airport Authority is pleased to announce that we were successful in being awarded Funding for improvements to the Local Airport.  Thanks to the generous contribution from the Local Authority and the Community Airport Partnership Program we are able to do some improvements to our Airport.  The amount is $90,865 which is shared by the Local Authority and the Ministry of Highways.  This will go a long way in improving the Airport.  The money will be used to resurface the Taxiway and expand the Transfer Area for Medivac Transfers of patients requiring Emergent Care. Going forward, we hope to one day have a modern and well serviced Airport to better serve our Community and surrounding Areas.
