Author Reading - Museum Day

Join us for welcoming Author, Gayle M Smith to our community on Thursday afternoon, May 15. The door will be open by 1:20pm or earlier for people to come and get their seats for the reading excerpts from the book "Thickwood" at 2:00 pm.  

The book is about a young woman with a love of horses, from a ranch in the Thickwood Hills in Saskatchewan, playing baseball with the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League. She is trying to save her family ranch from being overtaken by the newly formed PFRA (Prairie Farm Rehabilitation Administration) pasture.

Gayle, the author will have a few copies for sale after the reading.

Freewill offering is welcomed.

Refreshments will be available.
