FREE LANDFILL TIPPING
The Town of Assiniboia is offering Free Landfill tipping for Assiniboia Residents from
Saturday, May 11th to Saturday, May 18th.
Residential & Commercial Waste, excludes contractor & demolition waste.
Landfill Hours – located West on Highway 13, North on Range Rd 3015
8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. | 1:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday to Saturday
Please report to the operator before dumping, ensure all loads are covered to prevent littering.
Please note: Compost & Branches are accepted year-round for free at the Landfill. There will be no curbside compost pick-up by the Town.

Regional Park Pass Lending Program
The Regional Park Pass Lending Program is back in 2024! Starting from May 17 to September 15, 2024, people with a valid library card can borrow a pass from any Saskatchewan library and enjoy a seven-day loan period with free access to nearly 100 regional parks across the province. Adrian Paton Photo Collection Traveling Exhibit
The Adrian Paton Travelling Exhibit is a travelling exhibit is hosted by the Assiniboia & District Historical Museum, 506 3rd Ave W.
The Exhibit was developed in partnership with the University of Saskatchewan and Saskatchewan History Folklore Society, the display features selected photos from the collection along with information designed to inspire people to reflect on the past.
The exhibit covers the following topics:

- Intersecting Cultures
- Building on the Prairies
- Working the Land
- Teaching and Learning
- Expect the Unexpected
- Pictures with a Purpose
Everyone is welcome. Admission is by donation.
