Southeast College is a trusted regional provider of education, training, and workforce development serving communities across southeast Saskatchewan. ".... serving over 70 communities with a wide range of training and education options.”

Although the former Assiniboia Campus is no longer active, Southeast College continues to serve Assiniboia through regional programming, industry training, virtual learning, and in‑community course delivery. Their flexible approach ensures learners and employers in Assiniboia still have access to high‑quality education and safety certification opportunities.

🛠️ Safety & Industry Training

Southeast College regularly delivers essential safety and industry courses in and around Assiniboia, including:

  • H2S Alive

  • Ground Disturbance

  • First Aid/CPR

  • Confined Space

  • Power Mobile Equipment (PME)

These programs help individuals and employers meet regulatory requirements while ensuring workers have the skills and confidence to perform their jobs safely.

 

🎓 Post‑Secondary, Adult & Continuing Education

Southeast College offers a wide range of learning options accessible to Assiniboia residents through regional delivery, virtual learning, and blended formats:

  • Early Childhood Education

  • Part‑time and full‑time post‑secondary programs

  • Adult Education (Adult 12)

  • Employment Skills for the Workplace (ESWP)

  • English as an Additional Language (EAL)

  • Continuing Education courses

  • Corporate & industry training workshops

These programs support learners at all stages — “whether completing high school equivalency, building foundational skills, upgrading for employment, or preparing for further education.”
