Free Tipping at the Assiniboia Landfill

The Town of Assiniboia is offering free tipping for Assiniboia Residents from Saturday, May 13th to Saturday, May 20th. This offer is open for residential & commercial waste and excludes contractor & demolition waste.

 There will be no curbside compost pick up by the Town.  Compost & Branches can be taken to the Landfill year-round for free.  The landfill is located west on Highway 13, turn north at the Landfill Sign at Range Road #3015. 

 

Landfill Hours

Monday to Saturday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm (closed 12-1 & STAT holidays)

Music Exhibit

Wednesday May 17th ,2023
10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Join us for welcoming one and all to our 'Music Exhibit' . Come and try the hands on area while you view the new additions along with the "Music Exhibit".

You might want to practise a song or two with the hands on area and sing a song.

Story Time

Itsy Bitsy Reading & Rythm Program

International Museum Day

Wednesday May 17th ,2023
1:45 pm - 4:15 pm

You are invited to Celebrate International Museum Day at Assiniboia & District Historical Museum.

Come and Go Event from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm

There will be an Unveiling of the Inuit Blanket with the story behind the blanket.

Representative from the Town will be bringing greetings from the community.

Refreshments and baked goodies will be available.
