Shurniak Art Gallery is pleased to invite you to an artist talk on October 16, 1 pm, featuring the collaborative textile art of Edmonton-based artists Richard Boulet and Marilyn Olson.  Large collages are heavily embellished with cross stitch, crochet, and other multimedia items.  The artists have experienced significant mental health challenges, and will speak about the therapeutic value of craft in mental wellness.  Local textile crafts people are welcome to bring samples of their handiwork to share in conversation.   Refreshments will be served, everyone welcome.

The exhibition of this work will continue to November 28 at the Shurniak Gallery.
