Assiniboia Minor Football is registered members of Football Saskatchewan. The Football Fields are located at the Assiniboia Comprehensive High School and are operated and maintained by Prairie South School Division.
The Assiniboia Rockets Football Program is a community based minor football program affiliated with the High School Athletic Program. The teams who compete in the Bantam and Pee Wee Divisions in the Moose Jaw Minor Football League.
The ACHS Rocket Football Program is a member of the Saskatchewan High School Athletics Association
OUTDOOR BASKETBALL COURT
The Department of Parks, Recreation & Culture provides basketball courts on a first come-first serve basis. The courts are located within the Assiniboia Regional Park next to the Assiniboia Aquatic Centre & Trailer Park.
OUTDOOR SKATING RINK
Assiniboia has one outdoor skating rink that was rebuilt in 2013. The rink is free to use and can be accessed up until 10pm at night.The rink located next to the Assiniboia Civic Centre. For more information concerning the Outdoor Rink, individuals can contact the Department of Parks, Recreation & Culture at 642-3382 weekdays or the Arena at 642-5366.
The Department of Parks, Recreation & Culture provides tennis courts on a first come-first serve basis. The courts are located within the Assiniboia Regional Park next to the Assiniboia Aquatic Centre. Rules and regulations are clearly posted on the fencing.

SAND VOLLYBALL COURT
The volleyball court is on a first come-first serve basis. The courts are located within the Assiniboia Regional Park north of the Assiniboia Regional Campground. Volleyballs are available for rent (free of charge) from the Aquatic Centre.
